I would say my colour inspiration comes first from the architectural style of the space and then from the fabrics, etc. Trends are also a huge part of colour inspiration. I am doing a loft right now with fresh green and purple and there's lots of accessories in those colours which makes it easy to pull the space together. I purposely steered my client away from a gray green originally because I've had so much trouble finding designer fabrics in that colour.
